Events at Green Monkey are what brings us together as a community. Be it to share experiences and knowledge, or just to spend time with old friends and make new ones, events are for everyone.

Picking what events most interest you is where the fun starts. Our schedule ranges from movement workshops to wine tastings,

from children's book clubs to group triathlon trainings. Perhaps a screening of student films sparks your interest, or perhaps it's the shamanistic rite of passage weekend that's more up your alley.

Attend weekly workshops

Attend 4 classes a week (at least 1 with Paul)

Assist 3 classes

Observe 3 classes

Self study

Successfully pass the written test

Teach 3 community classes at Green Monkey

Teachers For Teachers with Terrance Murphy Workshop

  • September 11 | 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Join Terrance Murphy and the Monkeys as he leads a "Contact Stretching Workshop"  that will teach instructors hands-on techniques to take muscle stretching to the next level. You will learn techniques that can be used during your personal practice or can be used to add a new twist to your classes. The class will feature a fusion of problem-solving techniques, Thai bodywork, Ki-Hara Mashing™ and dynamic yoga exercises to strengthen weak muscle groups while providing flexibility without substitution in order to bring balance to your body and soul. If you struggle with yoga positions and are aware of tension in your upper and lower body, or if you are dealing with chrionic pain or problems areas, then this class is a must for you!  See you there, instructors!
