Hey my fellow Monkeys! Rockstar Monkey reporting here...
I thought since we′re covering The Great Outdoors this month, I would let you know all about the great Music Festivals that our great country has to offer (Happy Belated 4th of July). From camping out with friends at the festivals, to amazing music and great lineups, there are some incredible festivals coming up that you should not miss out on! For your convenience I have included links to find the lineup/ticket prices for each of these festivals. I hope to see you at a few of them!

CAMP BISCO 9
The Disco Biscuits will continue the tradition of bringing cutting edge acts to Mariaville, New York, when Camp Bisco 9, the ninth annual three-day music and arts festival, returns this July 15-17, 2010.

LOLLAPALOOZA
AUG 06 – AUG 08, 2010
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (GRANT PARK)

Conceived and created in 1991 by Jane′s Addiction singer Perry Farrell as a farewell tour for his band, Lollapalooza ran annually until 1997, and was revived in 2003. From its inception through 1997, and its revival in 2003, the festival toured North America. In 2004, the tour was cancelled. However, in 2005, Farrell and the William Morris Agency partnered up with Capital Sports Entertainment (now C3 Presents) and retooled it into its current format as a weekend destination festival.

The Mile High Music Festival is an annual two-day concert held in Commerce City, Colorado, first done on July 19 and 20, 2008.

OUTSIDE LANDS MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA (GOLDEN GATE PARK)
The Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival is a music festival held annually in San Francisco, California at Golden Gate Park. Headlined by The Strokes and Kings of Leon.

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON

Bumbershoot is an annual international music and arts festival held in Seattle, Washington. One of North America′s largest such festivals, it takes place every Labor Day weekend at the 74-acre Seattle Center, which was built for the 1962 World′s Fair.

AUSTIN CITY LIMITS

AUSTIN, TEXAS (ZILKER PARK)

The Austin City Limits Music Festival is an annual three-day music festival in Austin, Texas′ Zilker Park. The Festival brings together more than 130 bands on eight stages, including rock, country, folk, indie, Americana, hip-hop, reggae, and bluegrass, and attracts a crowd of more than 65,000 visitors each day. Named after the legendary PBS concert series, the festival is produced by C3 Presents, who also co-produce the Lollapalooza festival.

BEAR CREEK MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL

Held in Northern Florida, this veteran festival closes out our list for the year. Headliners include Umphrey′s McGee, Soulive, and Zach Deputy.
